My mission 🚀

I joined Mimo as a first Android engineer, and together with another Android engineer we kickstarted the Android project from scratch. We hired more Android engineers later, some as part of the Android team and some as freelancers. As a first Android engineer, I had an opportunity to take many responsibilities, such desigining project architecture, setting up CI/CD pipelines, setting up code format guidelines, providing feedback to my mobile engineer teammates.

Product and content teams did an amazing work, and we managed to launch the MVP version of the app in just 5 months. It kicked off very well and immediately started to get featured by Google Play frequently. In just 6 months, the app hit 1M+ downloads and was awarded “Best of Google Play 2018” award by Google Play. The app continued to grow in downloads since then, and currently it has over 10M+ on Google Play.
