My Mission

I joined Bikemap as an Android team lead, where I was responsible overall for the Android side of the project, such as ensuring code quality & project architecture, setting up and maintaining CI/CD, hiring Android engineers and planning of sprints. Bikemap already had an Android app when I joined the team. However, due to new product direction and legacy code, we decided to build the Android app from scratch.

One of my missions was to improve the app rating on Google Play. Good rating on Google Play is important not only for app search optimization, but also for trust of the users. It was rated at 3.8 out of 5 when I joined, and with launch of the new app its rating improved to 4.4.
